Doesn't seal good

I bought this and thought it would be great with the hinged lid and programable. As a crockpot lover I was excited to use but everything I cooked in it wasnt done like in my old crockpot. only way I could get it to cook better was put foil over the stoneware and then put on the lid. And my hinged lid did come with a gasket. I was so disappointed that I put it away in the closet and havent used again. Went and bought a different programmable crockpot brand.

For One - this costly slow cooker should have already had this installed on the lid. For Two - how the hay is it suppose to go on? Everytime I get it installed around the lid it pops back off. Very Frustrating!!!!!

Fantastic Cooker! (KSC6223SS0) - no gasket?

I just received my KSC 6223 a few days ago, and I love it. But, as someone else has written, is the lid supposed to come with the lid gasket? Because mine didn't. I'd like mine please. Seems peculiar to spend $130, and then have to spend *another* $6 for something that should have been in the box to begin with ..

I received this gasket for the 'standard' all glass lid. It was VERY difficult to install (2 person job). Once I got it on the lid, the lid didn't fit into the ceramic crock. Sealed better with-out the gasket. I will use with-out the gasket. Waste of time...

Lid Gasket?
2/2/2017
Are the KSC 6222 and KSC 6223 lids supposed to come with the lid gasket? Because mine didn't. If it's an add-on, fine...but if it was supposed to come with it, I'd like mine please. Love the KitchenAid Slow Cooker!
